1986

27 years old. KBOOM days.

I moved in with my mom and my grandpa in Kirkwood and started collecting unemployment and freelancing. Since my friend Walt was in charge of handing out work at Southwestern Bell Telecom, I had one good client right away, and was able to scare up a lot of little jobs now that I had some solid agency experience under my belt.

I dated some friends of Norty and Lori, but never seemed to click with them. These dates were some of the few I ever had, and I wasn't happy about the dating scene. Nice girls, but I'm not the dating type.

That summer Jeff Roth decided to go bum around the world and I rented out a room in his Schoolhouse over the summer with Abigail Twombley, his old girlfriend. It was an exciting place to live, up in North St. Louis, a few blocks from Crown Candy Company, the best ice cream parlor in St. Louis.
