The Zanti Misfits

The Zantis were my favorite punk band ever in St. Louis, hands down. They were funny, they played great songs, their originals were works of genius, and they had the look of South St. Louis street punks all over them.

They did great power-pop covers. Mark Sheridan, the bass player told stupid, terrible jokes between numbers. They were a trio, Pete on guitar, Mark on bass and Kevin on drums.

They had two incredible, insanely great songs on Test Patterns, "Bachelor's Friend" and another the name of which escapes me at the moment. Will someone please send me a copy of Test Patterns so I can hear it again?
